Waskesiu Children's Festival
The Waskesiu Children’s Festival is fun for the whole family. The day features face painting, a Parks Canada booth, and games. This is a wonderful, family-friendly, Waskesiu tradition where participants have fun and connect with nature, Park history, and friends throughout a wonderful day of outdoor activities on our grounds at 1500 Montreal Drive.

Grey Owl Howl
This annual dance held at the Community Hall is for the entire family. All ages are welcome! Enjoy music, raffles, light snacks and drinks and a family dance party.

Heritage Day Celebration

Waskesiu Lakeside Music Festival | 10th Anniversary

Remembrance Day
Meet at the Hawood Inn at 10:30 am and then walk to the Nature Centre for a ceremony of remembrance. Refreshments will be served following the ceremony at the Hawood Inn.

Canada Day
Celebrate Canada’s 158th birthday in Waskesiu with three days of festivities, including live music, hoop dancing, bike decorating, a pancake breakfast, bannock tasting, parade, face painting, and more from June 29 to July 1. Everyone is welcome to join the parade, and volunteers are needed to help make the celebration a success!
