Celebrate Heritage Day with an evening of powerful storytelling, reflection, and reconciliation at the Waskesiu Heritage Museum’s special screening of Jim Settee: The Way Home. On Saturday, August 9, 2025, at 7:30 PM at the Hawood Inn, Métis filmmaker Jeanne Corrigal will present her acclaimed film exploring the legacy of Métis Elder and former Prince Albert National Park Warden, Jim Settee — a man known for his deep connection to the land and his ability to guide others, both in the bush and in life. The screening will be followed by a Q&A with Corrigal. Admission is free and all are welcome to attend this meaningful event.
