Terrace Gardens - Assembly Hall
Recently restored to its 1930's charm that includes new hardwood floors and stage. The clean interior features new birch hardwood flooring and a prominent wooden stage. The stage area is a sophisticated canvas for a wedding ceremony, speaker, or musicians.

Hall capacity is 300 for theatre-style, 150 for banquet and 130 for banquet & dance.
Hall is available for booking annually from the May Long Weekend to September 30th.

1. The rental fee for the hall is $840.00 plus taxes per day for Fri., Sat. & Sundays. Week days (Monday to Thursday) will be $630.00 per day plus taxes. Special wedding rate of $1,260.00 (arrival Friday afternoon and departure Sunday noon). A damage deposit of $500.00 will be charged and collected upon booking the hall, and refunded after the function/rental is completed. The full rental fee must be paid prior to the event.
2. Keys supplied at time of payment of rental & no earlier than day of booking. 350$ of your deposit will be withheld if keys are not returned.
3. This form is for the hall rental only. It does not include the grounds or parking lot. Tents are not allowed on the grounds for private functions. For requests for outdoor wedding ceremonies, contact PANP Town Site offices at waskesiuadmin@pc.gc.ca or Visitor Services at 306-663-4522.
4. Caterers – In town caterers recommended due to the limited size of the kitchen facility. Self catering is allowed.
5. Hall Capacity – 150 for banquet, 130 for reception & dance, 300 for theatre seating.
6. All businesses/operators doing business in the Park need to obtain a business licence from the Park. IE: Caterers/DJ’s.
7. The Chamber will ensure that the hall is clean, that all tables & chairs are stacked before the rental party enters. The rental party is responsible for stacking all tables & chairs after the completion of the event. Chairs go on & under the benches & tables stacked up against the side wall, and all garbage off the floor & removed from the premises. If not, the damage deposit could be forfeited.
8. Do not leave any garbage, cardboard, boxes, crates, or recycling outside the hall after your event, it attracts animals, and your damage deposit could be forfeited.
9. Removal of extra chairs from the hall must be arranged ahead of time and will be billed at $50 per hour to remove and return after the event. The extra chairs may be stored under the benches in the hall.
10. The renting party must ensure that all equipment is put back inside the hall. If you put any tables/chairs/benches outside, make sure they are kept out of the rain. Failing this will forfeit your deposit.
11. Do not put any new fasteners into the walls, window frames or door jambs. Any new fasteners, tape, glue, staples, candle wax, etc. found on the tables, floors or walls could forfeit the deposit.
12. A Hall Check Form will be completed by Chamber Staff upon completion of the event.
13. If liquor is to be served, a liquor permit must be obtained in advance from SLGA.com. Waskesiu Liquor Store in Waskesiu (306) 663-2337. All bar services must be closed no later that 1:30am and hall must be vacated by 2:00am.
Due to location of the hall, all bar services must be closed no later than Midnight and the hall must be vacated by 1:00AM during July & Aug.
14. In case of power outages, the Waskesiu Chamber of Commerce is not responsible for providing alternatives. Renters are not allowed to touch or alter in any way electrical panels in the halls.
15. The person or group entering the hall will, at all times, indemnify and save harmless the Waskesiu Chamber of Commerce from and against all manners of actions, claims, demands, damages, and matters whatsoever resulting from the use of the facility and all activities therein.

1. The renting party is responsible for stacking all tables and chairs at the completion of the event.
Chairs on and under the benches and tables leaned up against side walls.
2. Ensure that all equipment, tables, chairs are put back inside the hall before closing (excluding BBQ/Griddles). If you put tables/chairs outside, make sure they are kept out of the rain.
3. Please mop up liquid spills on the premises as soon as possible. Do not leave it to dry on the floor.
Wet & dry mops are available in the janitors/electrical room located by the women’s bathroom entrance.
NO DANCING WITH DRINKS IN HAND. IT IS A HARDWOOD FLOOR.
4. It is the responsibility of the renter to ensure the floor is spot mopped (big spills or sticky areas) with hot water/detergent & cleaner with a very dry mop (all supplies located under the sink). Water accessed from the kitchen sink.
5. Ensure that all garbage is off the floor and removed from the premises. All garbage outside is to be cleaned up at the end of the evening. Do not leave garbage or recycling outside overnight. Garbage bin is located at the edge of the parking lot.
6. Community Hall is a Heritage building. Do not add nails or screws to the building for hanging decorations. If you use tape or sticky tac, please ensure that it is removed after completion of the event.
7. Candles are allowed. Please clean up any spilled wax on tables, floor or other surfaces.
8. Do not use the fireplace – the Park has sealed the damper in the shut position.
9. Ensure the kitchen, if used; is cleaned up and all items in the cooler and stove are removed. If BBQ is rented; you or your caterer are required to clean them.
11. Washrooms are to be left tidy and garbage removed.
12 Ensure all lights are turned off before vacating the premises & all doors are pulled shut and locked.
13. Smoking is not allowed in the hall. Please pick up cigarette butts outside on the ground.
14. Vacate the premises no later than 2:00AM. Failure to do so will forfeit your damage deposit.
Terrace Gardens Hall, you must close the side windows and turn your music down by Midnight. Recreation Hall is in a residential neighbourhood and you must observe quiet time by Midnight.
Your damage deposit could be forfeited if these responsibilities are not followed

We understand that plans can change, and we strive to accommodate our renters as best as possible.
Please review our rescheduling and cancellation policy below:
1. Cancellation Policy
● Cancellations must be submitted in writing via email.
● If the cancellation is made 60 days or less from the original reservation date, no rescheduling or refund will be possible.
● If the cancellation is made prior to 60 days from the original reservation date, and if the hall is successfully rebooked for the same date, you will receive 85% of your deposit back.
● If we are unable to rebook the hall, the deposit will be non-refundable.
2. Rescheduling Policy
● Requests to reschedule must be made at least 60 days prior to the event date.
● Rescheduling is subject to hall availability.
● The original deposit will be applied to the new date.
● The new event date must be within the same calendar year as the original booking. If the hall's availability cannot accommodate a reschedule within this time frame, the cancellation policy will apply, and the deposit will be forfeited.
● Rescheduling can only be done once before the deposit is forfeited.
3. Additional Information
● Deposits for hall rentals are $800 for the Community Hall; $500 for the Recreation Hall and Terrace Gardens.
● All changes to existing reservations, including cancellations and rescheduling, must be confirmed in writing.
● In exceptional circumstances, the Waskesiu Chamber of Commerce reserves the right to consider refunds or rescheduling on a case-by-case basis.
